Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2

The Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 is a mid-range summer tire tuned specifically for use with sport compacts. Its Variable Contact Patch offers equal performance along straightaways and when cornering while its dual, asymmetrical tread design and dual tread compounds ensure a safe grip in wet and dry conditions.

Additionally, the Pilot Exalto PE2 features an acoustically tuned tread for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

The Pilot Exalto PE2's Variable Contact Patch compensates for the tendency tires have to throw more stress on the outside shoulder during turns, ensuring the same amount of rubber on the road during cornering as during straightaways for maximum performance. Its dual, asymmetrical tread design and dual tread compounds provide the Pilot Exalto PE2 with the same wet weather performance as its dry weather performance by quickly funneling water away to decrease tire wetness and the risk of hydroplaning.
