Michelin LTX Winter

Michelin LTX Winter are tires built for driving in extreme cold conditions for pickups, SUVs, and vans. The 3-D Active Sipes use over 1,000 biting edges for traction on ice and snow, and MaxTouch Construction creates a large contact patch allowing more of the tread to work at a time.

A larger contact patch not only improves traction but also improves the longevity of the tires by creating an even wear. The tires are built with W/Max compound which is optimized to deliver strong starting tractive grip and stopping power on ice, while providing a firm surface at higher temperatures for good performance on wet and dry surfaces. The interior is reinforced with 3 steel belts to resist punctures and increase the load capacity of the tires.
