Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor

$200.00 Released October, 2005

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Reasonable noise, can hear them but not very much. Handling is fairly good, does what you want it to when you want it to. Works through the snow reasonably well, not as good as a dedicated snow tire but still fair.

The Cons:Treadwear is not quite as good as the average truck tire.

Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires are built for durability and smooth highway driving. SilentArmor technology uses an extra layer of DuPont Kevlar around the tire, which helps increase durability while soaking up road noise for a smooth and quiet ride.

Product Shot 2 The sidewalls use Durawall Technology to resist cuts and punctures. Traction ridges along the edges of the tire work to provide traction when in off-road conditions, including mud and sand. An open tread pattern is also used for further enhanced off-road traction. The rim protector protects against curb damage, protecting the tires while parking. The treads of the tires come with a 50,000 mile / 80,000 kilometer limited warranty, and the Mountain Snowflake Designation has been granted for outstanding winter traction.
