Goodyear's Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 is a mid-range winter tire for passenger cars, based on the Eagle Ultra Grip GW-2 model, and with similar and upgraded features. The tread compound is built to withstand all winter conditions, and the tread has a high number of blades and biting edges that help to grip onto snow and ice, to improve both wet and dry steering.

The V-shaped tread, as well as the two deep circumferential grooves, expel water and slush away from the contact patch. The sidewalls feature a rim protector to guard against accidental curb damage.
