It uses large outside shoulder blocks that work to grip the pavement while cornering. The center elements of the tread pattern promote faster response time when accelerating and braking. Water is channeled using groves that run the circumference of the tire as well as a 3D block that avoids hydroplaning. A high grip compound is used in the tread, which is specifically formulated to improve handling in both dry and wet conditions.
