Weathergrip compound in the tire construction helps to maintain traction in wet surfaces, and key hole sipes are built to widen as the tire wears for even more grip. The tire is built with a roundness to allow for balancing between wet and dry handling. To reduce road noise, specialized noise-cancelling sound waves are generated by the design of the tire itself.
