Firestone Destination LE

$180.00 Released April, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Accelerating is good, won't spin out. Maintains good traction in wet weather, never hydroplanes. Braking is very good on dry pavement, bites right in.

The Cons:Tread wears down quite a bit faster than the average truck tire. Looses a lot of traction in the snow.

The Destination LE is an all-season tire from Firestone that offers an alternative to the company's Destination A/T model. Designed for light trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles, this model is suitable for both wet and dry conditions thanks to Firestone's Uni-T technology.

Optimized for highway driving, the tire incorporated multiple technologies with handling and comfort in mind, including O-BEAD single-strand cable technology for smooth rotations. A Long Link carbon structure helps to reduce tread wear including common problems like chipping, cracking and tearing. With the help of the company's Computer Optimized Component System (CO-CS), the Destination LE has been constructed using optimal levels of casing and tread design, and constructed using the most suitable high-performance materials.
